Spencer Parish
Pastor-Elder
Spencer and Lauren have been married since 2010 and have one daughter. Spencer received his M.Div. from Denver Seminary, after which the Parishes moved to Kearney to plant Calvary. He enjoys reading fiction, sports, video games with Juliet, and sitting outside on nice days with a glass of iced tea.

Aidan Bentley
Pastoral Intern
Aidan and Elizabeth have been married since 2024. Aidan earned his bachelors degree in education and is currently getting his M.Div. through William Tennent School of Theology. Aidan enjoys working out, drinking coffee, playing board games, and reading.
Micah Sessions
Pastoral Intern
Micah and Kaylen have been married since 2021 and have two daughters named Willow and Olive. Micah is currently a student at William Tennent School of Theology. He enjoys a cold can of Dr. Pepper, strategy board games, relaxing around a fire pit, and playing with his daughters at the park.
Lauren Parish
Ministry Coordinator
Lauren & Spencer have been married since 2010 and have one daughter, Juliet. She loves a good house project, music, baking, the Iowa Hawkeyes, college football, board games, running and good air conditioning. She doesn’t enjoy a good cup of coffee but we don’t hold that against her! The Parishes love family roadtrips so Ruthie (the world’s best dog) can tag along, and are working their way through all of the National Parks together.
Ben Andres
Deacon / Treasurer
Ben and Dylan have been married since 2022 and have a blue heeler named Aly. Ben earned his bachelors from UNK in Business Intelligence and is a Data Analyst for CSS Farms. He is pursuing a masters in Business Analytics from UNL and enjoys board games, grilling, attempting simple vehicle maintenance, and watching tv shows with his family.
Reid Bednar
Deacon
Reid has been married to his beautiful wife Mila since March of 2022 and they have a wonderful daughter, Elaine and son, Wesley. Reid works at Horizon Middle School as a 7th grade science teacher and owns a mowing business called Bednar Lawn Service. He enjoys going on walks with his family, reading and listening to audiobooks, and playing video games.
Doug Christiansen
Deacon
Doug, and his beautiful wife Sophia, were married on July 1, 2023. He began attending Calvary in 2022 when he hitched a ride to church with his college roommate. Doug currently works at a small community planning firm located in Kearney, Nebraska. He does not enjoy working out. But he does enjoy reading, going on walks with his wife, and watching Husker sports.
